At the PPG Training Centre in Eastern Creek, Sydney, we tackled a serious issue with a large poly tank that had developed structural damage. The roof had collapsed and the side cracked, causing leaks and operational problems.
The Problem
- Large poly tank with cracked side and collapsed roof
- Neglected maintenance leading to worsening damage

- Tenant required continuous water supply for site operations
- Limited floor space necessitating a new tank layout
Our Solution
- Inspected and assessed the damaged tank
- Removed the old tank safely through demolition and desludging
- Installed two 5,000-litre round poly tanks manufactured by Aussie Water Savers, optimized for the site
- Supplied a new pump system designed for the building’s flow and pressure needs
- Extended the 225mm stormwater line and added structural steel bracing for pipe support
- Designed and installed an overflow system to manage heavy rainfall
- Connected tanks with a 100mm pressure line for balanced water distribution
