Large-Scale Rainwater Tank System Replacement – Cottage Point

Tony from Cottage Point came to us with a serious issue — his slimline tank system with external steel baffles was failing. Water was pooling in the service room, causing the steel baffles to rust and eventually leading to one tank bursting open.

The Problem

  • Slim tank system with aging steel baffles
  • Pooling water in the service room causing rust and damage
  • One tank burst open due to baffle failure
  • No mains water supply, making rainwater use essential

Our Solution

  • Conducted a thorough site visit and measurements
  • Recommended full replacement of the tank system, including pump and filtration
  • Partnered with Aussie Water Savers to manufacture 12 x 2000-litre round poly tanks, designed to fit through the service room access
  • Supplied high-quality pumps and filters from Davey Water Products to optimize rainwater usage
  • Removed the old system and prepared the space for new tanks
  • Installed and interconnected the new tanks with a 25mm connection line to maximize room access and efficiency
  • Set up the pump, filtration, and overflow system to ensure seamless operation
